I realised that I had accidentally bought Erin Brockovich twice within a couple of months (because I had failed to put the 1st copy on my DVD shelves), so yesterday I swapped the 2nd copy for Oklahoma (the London stage production starring Hugh Jackman ).

Nice selection. I have two copies of Oklahoma! One of them was being sold as a fundraiser for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS at the theater where Hugh was performing The Boy from Oz. So, even though I'd already bought a copy, I just had to buy an autographed DVD donate to that worthy cause. (I don't think anyone has matched Hugh's fundraising record for BCEFA.)

And I'm still planning to catalog my DVDs (and books) and all the movies I've recorded. Eventually I'll check out a couple of programs and figure out which one works best for me. (I'll probably be looking at Delicious Library and Booxter.) At least (thus far ) I'm more likely to record something twice than to buy it twice, except for different editions.

Just got Shaun and Hot Fuzz on Blu-ray for $14 each. Absolute bargain!

Yesterday, I got the Star Trek 2-disk special edition DVD. I'm going to wait to watch it with my brother.

Yesterday I bought Watchmen and The Boat That Rocked and Ghost World

You know, while I was watching bits of the Scream awards and they were showing Watchmen clips, it hit me how gods damn long I've been waiting for the biggest and badass-est of DVD releases that is supposedly out next month. OMG, it's finally next month.

^ I love deals like that! I bought the Back to the Future trilogy a while ago for like $20.

Thanks to a great deal at Amazon, I got series 1, 3, and 4 of Doctor Who (I already had series 2). Methinks a marathon is in my future.
